This star studded fashion show was absolutely beautiful and every one of the 72 looks were stunning! Christian truly understands every detail of a woman’s body and his clothes truly displays that ever season.

It’s a sad day in the fashion world as we learned that Marchesa has canceled its New York Fashion week show that was on the calendar for February 14th. Marchesa has opted to present a digital presentation for the many admirers who were excited to see the fashion brand presentation live. I am sure that many unseen factors played a major role in this decisions and just maybe it was “way to soon” for the comeback. However, as I plan my trip to NYFW next week, I will be sure to add a reminder to take a look at the digital presentation…….will you?

Domenico and Stefano has created yet again a fantastic & whimsical collection. Honestly this was a very hard task to choose only 4 looks out of 106 total. This collection embodies everything there is in being a woman and it was nice to see “fun” was a main contributor to this collection.

The looks included beading layered over embroideries layered over lace and brocade, leather and chiffon. Perfection! Below are my favorite 4 looks.

Etro A Paisley Playground

On Saturday before attending the Style South fashion show I had the pleasure of experiencing a private tour of Etro Boutique located in Atlanta.

Etro is an Italian fashion house founded in 1968 which is still to this day owned and operated strictly by family. Little know fact to me is that nothing is outsourced every from clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry, perfumes, textiles and home furnishings are completely created in house. Remarkable!

This boutique which features Men’s and Women’s fashion is something to experience to say the least. I was greeted with a glass of bubbly and got a glimpse of a few pieces that would grace the runway in the Style South fashion show. If you ever visiting Atlanta please add this Boutique on your list of extraordinary shopping experiences.
