B Fab Awards Recap: Oh What a Glamorous Night it was….Posted: October 15, 2014
Thank you for checking in with me on this nice crisp autumn day! This past weekend was packed full of events and I am proud to say that I made it to all of them which is an outstanding accomplishment for me thank you very much. On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the highly anticipated second installment of the B Fab Awards which was held at the Westside Cultural Arts Center. I must say that I will continue to support this event year after year because this event is always planned and executed with professionalism and class.
Tiffini Gatlin who is the founder and CMS (chief millennial strategist) for Tastemaker Magazine is an amazing women and inspiration to women entrepreneurs to say she is fierce is an understatement. She is the mastermind behind this awesome event that highlights and gives a platform to some of the most influential bloggers of our generation. There is always something new and fresh to experience when you attend the B Fab Awards, this year the theme was beauty and the beauty lounge had complimentary beauty stations that were catering to attendees. There were stations to have your make up done, hair styled and even a Henna station that were creating amazing Henna tattoos.
This event brought out the best of the best in the blogging world and I saw many of my favorite bloggers in attendance looking fabulous. This is not your typical Atlanta event the B Fab Awards encourages you to dress to impress and the style of the attendees was on level 10 I tell you! Below are some highlights (via http://www.tastemakermag.com) of the concept behind the B Fab Awards and categories of nominees and winners. I can’t wait for next year’s event I know that it will be bigger and better than ever.
•Tastemaker Magazine kicked off its first Bloggers in Fashion and Beauty Awards (also known as B. FAB Awards) in Atlanta, Georgia on March 24, 2013. The inaugural event sold out with over 200 fashion and beauty bloggers, media and brands coming together in a 10,000 square foot loft.
•The idea was simple, create a formal celebration that allowed for a specific niche of new media who are changing the dynamics of style, beauty and lifestyle brands around the world with one click and bring them to one city to celebrate and award their influence.
•The B. FAB Awards has set the bar for being the first formal award show of its kind in Atlanta to nominate and award bloggers in fashion, beauty and lifestyle for their accomplishments of not only being influential bloggers, but for single-handedly turning their blogs into brands.
The B. FAB Awards is excited to continue to encourage our participants to be fabulous, be unique and to be themselves. Their blog is a representation of their individuality.
